I guess so … because many carpentries in Italy and abroad tell me the same thing.
There are many young people at home who don’t do anything and yet we have difficulty finding people.
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHY THIS HAPPENS?
Do you think Google or Apple have difficulty finding people to join their company?
Unfortunately, they have a queue in front of the gates.
Why? Why do they have everything and we have nothing?
I’m telling you this in a brutal way but I won’t say it to offend anyone, I just want to provoke a reflection.
Working at Apple or Microsoft is cool.
Working in a CARPENTRY SHOP IS LIKE BEING A POOR LOSER.
Did it piss you off? I sincerely hope that it has pissed you off, I hope it has awakened that passion which led you to open (or continue) your company and it brings to light the reasons why IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO WORK WITH WOOD in your company … and that is why all the good ones should come.
But what I said, in your heart, you know it’s true.

But are we sure that it is their fault?
In a world driven by technology, where young people grow up on bread and tablets, WHAT DOES THE CARPENTER DO TO MAKE CARPENTRY WORK ATTRACTIVE?
Producing wooden products is so complex that it can be compared to producing a Lamborghini…
But Lamborghini’s workers are proud to be Lamborghini’s workers and you don’t find people….
I believe that producing windows is not for losers, instead I believe that it is a GREAT PRODUCTION CHALLENGE, full of complexity and that for this reason it is very cool and exciting..
In fact, I’ve seen beautiful, automated companies where there are smart, smart, prepared guys who love what they do because they feel like they’re in a company that produces HIGH VALUE WOOD OBJECTS, in a clean environment and through an innovative production system comparable to that of Lamborghini.
That said, it is natural that if you keep your carpentry shop so dirty and messed up, you will work under constant emergency since you do not know what you have to do today for tomorrow, using machines where you will be risking your fingers and reasoning like a craftsman of 20 years ago, not understanding that the world today is something else … you are certain that smart young people will avoid you like the plague.
Think about entrepreneurship … reflect ….
