Is it difficult to do business in Italy?

Raise your hand if you think it’s a walk in the park…
The reasons I normally hear are …
1) Labour costs are too high
2) Competition from foreign countries
3) The generational change
4) Too many taxes
5) Competition of new materials
6) Costs for securing everything
7) blablablabla …

Are they all bullshit?
Unfortunately NO … indeed they are all simply true … BUT…

There are also carpentries that despite all these points … are fine, they are full of work, they make profits, perhaps less than once but they still have the margins to invest in technology, marketing …

And then the question should be … Is there a way to be (or get back to being) successful with my carpentry company?
