As you can see I have been giving you information, ideas, advice … sometimes they are provocative.
Do you think it’s right to share them?
Is it a smart choice to act like a sounding board and spread them?
Or just because you’ve read a good idea, you prefer to light a candle and hope that your competitors don’t read it, don’t grab it, don’t use it.
Imagine a shopping mall … new, beautiful with you inside … but ONLY YOU!..
There are no other shops, ONLY YOU!
How many people do you think will visit that mall?
Imagine going to Mugello because Valentino Rossi races today, but ALONE … HE’S ALONE there …
How many people will go to see that beautiful race?
Too often, a craftsman wants to keep everything for himself and his competitors have to die.
Sharing?
No, why should I share?
And in fact, this is one of the stupid attitudes that has brought the wood industry to its present state.
Open your ears because it’s time to understand something which is counter-intuitive: YOUR COMPETITORS ARE USEFUL.
Your competitors are useful, as well as Valentino Rossi’s opponents, as well as Samsung, Huawei, Sony and Apple are.
Otherwise the wood sector loses its sense, to the advantage of other materials.
If the architect or surveyor or potential client receives information about wood ONLY FROM YOU … but on the other hand he receives information about other materials from many companies, who do you think will lose ?
So if you love wood, if you love your company, then put aside the silly predisposition that makes you to want everything for yourself and start to SHARE … because this generates a BACKGROUND NOISE of great importance in order to return wood to the market position it deserves.
