First it’s produced, then it’s sold

How nice it is to produce, to see the wood being processed and to smell the scent of wood shavings … you like it too, don’t you?
We lived through the years where the only problem was to produce; outside the shop there was a queue of customers waiting for us, begging us to deliver them within 6 months.
There was only one thing to be produced, always and only to be produced.

And today?

In my opinion, today the situation has slightly changed …
Yesterday -> First we produce, then we sell
Today -> FIRST SALE AND THEN … IT IS PRODUCED
Today the real problem is not producing, today the real problem has become selling.
This is the real challenge for craftsmen … Today the number 1 problem is SELLING!
But is selling really a problem? Yes, for many craftsmen it is a problem because they do not know how to do it.
Beware it is not the fault of the carpenter, it is simply because over time they have not felt the need to learn how to do it.
Carpenters have always been so full of work that they didn’t need to refine their commercial skills; they used to work with zero-effort.
But today the situation is profoundly different; knowing how to sell must become part of the knowledge of a carpenter.

So where can one learn a sales method designed for carpentry?
Well … I have an idea … starts with J and ends with F
