Have you ever wondered who your customers are?
Have you ever tried to imagine who your offer (products and services) is intended for?
What should your typical customer have?
They seem like trivial questions but in reality they are not…
Some customers ask me … “Stefano, why do I always get the troublemakers, who have no money and waste a lot of my time?”
When this happens too often, the reason is simple.
Our company is not communicating properly, to attract the customers we want.
It’s like saying … “Come in people … Come in … here you will find windows for everyone”.
Let me give you a different example, imagine that a person needs to buy a car but can spend €9990,00.
What are the chances, in your opinion, that this person will go to a BMW or Mercedes dealer?
BMW and Mercedes have built over time, through their communication (their marketing), the idea in people’s heads that if you have €9990 you don’t have to go to their car dealership.
They know what kind of customers they want and they do the communication to attract them and to limit others …
So…
1) Let’s start defining who you want and who you don’t want as a customer
2) Create a communication about your products and services that makes them appealing only to your customers … NOT for everyone.
You will see that … you will spend less time chasing lost situations from the start.
